Peaches are one of my favorite summer fruits. White or yellow, I love them all! And they’re a family favorite. Even our littlest guy loves them! They only last a couple days in our home especially if they’re at their peak sweet spot in ripeness. But this morning, I made this Peach Banana Smoothie Bowl.
And it also has some healthy fats and protein in there too! Avocado, chia seeds, and greek yogurt are blended up in this yummy goodness.
Smoothie bowls are a great breakfast go-to. A good way to get your serving of fruits, vegetables, healthy fats and protein. And, this Peach Banana Smoothie Bowl is super simple to make. Grab a peach and a banana along with some greek yogurt, sliced avocado, chia seeds, greek vanilla yogurt, and apple juice. Then blend all the ingredients together and pour in a bowl. My personal favorite type of yogurt to use is Chobani. But I also really really love Siggis! They’re both great in smoothies and they’re packed with lots of protein.
There you have your very own smoothie bowl. Feel free to also add in some spinach or kale if you have it. The best thing about smoothies is that you don’t really taste the greens that you add in. So it’s a win win for you taste-wise and health-wise!
Top with your favorite toppings. Fresh fruit, nuts, coconut, chia seeds, granola, etc. If you don’t have time in the mornings to make this as a smoothie bowl, then pour in a to-go thermos and take it with you for the road. So easy and delicious!
Hope you enjoy this refreshing summer smoothie bowl!
