Homemade Guacamole

Guac. Guac. Guacamole.

As you already know, I love just about anything Mexican. Guacamole is the icing on the cake for me, or should I say the guac on my taco. Okay, I’m not the best pun maker so please give a little grace. 🙂

Sometimes if you go out to eat at a local Tex-Mex or Mexican place, it costs extra for guacamole. It makes you think, “is it really worth it to pay an extra $2 for this guac?”. In some cases, it most definitely is, but in others, why not just make your own! You can invite some friends or family over and have a Fiesta. Plus you can have as much guacamole as you want. Side note – If you make your own guacamole, it generally costs around $3-$4. And that’s a whole bowl of guacamole.

Homemade Guacamole- So easy to make and perfect as a topping or dip! Made with fresh ingredients.

Guacamole is a healthy snack too. It’s made with avocados which are great superfoods. They are full of healthy fats. Avocados mixed with lots of vegetables, how can you go wrong? Fun fact, did you know that it takes an avocado tree nearly 10 years before it produces fruit?! Now, it makes sense why they are sometimes more expensive!
